Deposit & Refund Policy

The deposit

Reserving a boat requires a $2,500 deposit, taken at checkout. It is not the purchase price. It does two things: it holds a slot in the production queue, and it locks the price quoted to you at the time of reservation.

Refundable for 14 days

Fully refundable, no reason required, for 14 days from the reservation date. Email us and we return it to the original payment method within five business days.

After 14 days

Once your build sheet is signed and materials are committed, the deposit becomes non-refundable, because your specific hull is now in production in your specific colour.

The deposit is credited in full against the balance on your build invoice.

The balance

Invoiced after your build sheet is confirmed, payable by wire or ACH. The boat does not ship until the balance clears. We do not take the balance by card.

If we cannot deliver

If we cannot build your boat for any reason, you get the deposit back in full, regardless of how much time has passed.

Changes

Specification changes before layup are usually free. After layup they are quoted case by case. Colour cannot be changed once gelcoat is sprayed.
